Ghent Announces Record-Breaking Cultural Festival Lineup

Ghent has unveiled its 2025 summer festival program, featuring an unprecedented mix of international artists and local talent across music, theatre, and visual arts.

Festival Highlights

The Ghent Festivities (Gentse Feesten) will return in July with:

• Over 300 free concerts across the city center
• Street theatre performances from 15 countries
• A new digital arts exhibition in the historic quarter
• Food markets celebrating Belgian and international cuisine

Cultural Investment

The city has invested significantly in expanding venue capacity and improving accessibility for visitors with disabilities.

“Ghent’s cultural scene continues to thrive,” said the city’s culture minister. “We’re proud to showcase both our heritage and our vision for the future.”

Tickets for premium events go on sale in March.
