Namur to Host European Cycling Championship

Namur has been selected to host the European Cycling Championship later this year, bringing thousands of athletes and spectators to the Walloon capital.

Tourism Boost

Local officials expect the event to generate significant tourism revenue and showcase Namur’s natural beauty to an international audience.

Preparation

The city is upgrading cycling infrastructure and preparing accommodation for an estimated 50,000 visitors during the championship week.
